Blind expects the community to respect our rules, each other, and the employee-employer compact. We understand that to foster a diverse, truthful, and transparent space, we must be able to express ourselves freely — regardless of where we work, what we do, or how much money we make.
Blind is a self-moderating community. However, our community team may take action if people disrespect each other, act in a non-professional manner, provoke others, practice toxic behavior, or engage in bad faith. This is applicable to all Blind users, including moderators.
Blind is for real people, real conversations, and real change. To ensure our impact is good and never harmful, and to create a space where everyone can openly share their thoughts -- we’d like to share our community guidelines:

If you see a discussion thread, post, or comment that may violate these community guidelines, please flag it for review. If you see another member abusing you or others, take action: Block them or flag the conversation for review. We use these signals, in addition to our content algorithms, to keep Blind a safe space for real conversations about work.

Our community guidelines help establish norms and positive behavior, and create a safe space for authentic and open conversation.
We may take action as a result of negative community activity, rule-violating content, or in response to community feedback or analysis. Actions vary depending on the severity, perceived impact, and frequency of behavior. Repeated incidents and reports may result in disciplinary action(s) or termination of your account.

Do not impersonate another employee, employer or user through username, explicit terms, inference, or content that misleads or misrepresents your identity. Accounts acquired improperly are strictly prohibited.
Do not attempt to mislead, lie, or falsify information not known to you in first-person or with first-hand experience. Do not engage in creating, spreading, or amplifying content that is not true, or not confirmed to be true, or for the sole purpose of driving impressions and views.
Do not SPAM our community. Avoid posting repetitive or irrelevant content. Do not artificially create accounts for commercial purposes, or access our community to solicit or sell products or services. Using Blind for unlawful activities or to facilitate illegal transactions is strictly prohibited. This includes selling, buying, or facilitating transactions involving illegal goods or services, as well as certain types of regulated goods or services. Please keep in mind to be compliant with all relevant laws, contracts, and regulations rests entirely with you.
Teamblind disclaims any liability or responsibility for acts, omissions, or conduct of users or any party in connection with Blind. Teamblind is NOT liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, incidental, special, punitive, or other losses, including lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, etc., arising from or related to interactions between users, including but not limited to solicitation, attempted transactions or transactions between users in Blind.
Do not be mean. Do not use Blind for malicious harassment or threats. Posts that inflame conversations, target others, or are created with the purpose of attacking or bullying others will be removed.
*Harassment may include: Words, gestures, or actions which tend to annoy, alarm, abuse, demean, intimidate, belittle, humiliate, or embarrass another or which create an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment.
Do not be elitist. Do not engage in hate speech or discriminatory practices. Do not use slang, slurs, acronyms, images, or other targeted content for divisive purposes.
*Hate speech may include: Communication, writing, or behavior that attacks or uses pejorative or discriminatory language referencing a person or a group based on who they are, such as religion, ethnicity, nationality, race, color, descent, gender, or other identity factors.
The flag feature should be used to report genuine violations of the community guidelines. Attempting to remove content solely because of disagreement can be considered as an abuse of the flagging system.
Do not share business secrets; sensitive information of commercial value and not otherwise available to the public, that provides your company with a competitive edge. Our goal is to foster open conversation without threatening the legitimate business purposes of the companies in which you work.
Do not participate in any actions or behaviors that are illegal in your local jurisdiction. Do not break any international, country, county or local laws. Do not create or share NSFW (Not safe for work) content or pornography. Do not make unwarranted advances. Do not infringe others' rights such as privacy or copyrights. Do not post content that promotes violence, makes threats, or instills fear. Do not share any material that could be considered unethical or detrimental to the well-being of living beings, as it will be promptly removed.
In the Adult Life channel in Blind US and 19+ channel in Blind KR, users are welcome to share limited NSFW (Not safe for work) content, provided it adheres to our community guidelines. Keep discussions respectful and safe.
Adult Life Channel Image Guidelines Users may share limited NSFW-adjacent content as long as it stays casual, non-explicit, and respectful. These are limited and may be removed if posted: nudity or genital exposure, sexual acts or simulations, pornography or explicit links, images involving minors, non-consensual sexual content, and posts that encourage sexual DMs or involve illegal activity.
Do not disclose or share personally identifiable information (PII) about yourself or others on Blind. This includes any information intended to de-anonymize, identify, or target individuals, regardless of intent (positive or negative). Examples of PII include full names, contact details, or any unique information tied to an individual's identity.
Exceptions: You may reference individuals in leadership roles within a company if they are widely recognized in their professional capacity and the discussion pertains to their publicly known professional conduct, decisions, or work performance. Similarly, you may reference public figures whose actions or statements are part of public discourse. All references must remain professional, and respectful. Personal attacks, defamatory comments, or attempts to harass these individuals are strictly prohibited.
Do not post off-topic content, comments, or links in non-relevant channels. Community guidelines may vary across channels. Moderators of User Generated Channels ("UGCs") have the authority to establish policies specific to their respective channels. Be sure to review the channel's notice or placeholder to understand the rules for that particular channel. Assistance cannot be provided to accounts that have been restricted due to failure to comply with a channel's stated policies. Accidents happen, but community channels, threads, and interest-based areas are intended for members to follow and engage in the conversation easily.
Do not subvert, hack, scrape, engineer, or otherwise attack Blind’s products or employees. Do not engage in any unlawful activity on Blind. Do not place Blind in jeopardy for any content or any failure to comply with our rules. Do not break our Terms of Service.
