I know this question has probably been asked a million times, but I'm still genuinely confused and would love to hear perspectives from the Blind community. Is UltraCode actually worth it for SWE interviews? For context, I don't want to cheat in interviews. As an interviewer myself, I really dislike when candidates use hidden tools to get answers they don't actually understand. At the same time, it feels like more and more candidates are using AI-assisted interview tools, and I worry about putting myself at a disadvantage by refusing to use them. I'm struggling with where to draw the line: - Are companies actively detecting these tools? - Has anyone bought it and found it genuinely useful for learning/ in interviews, or does it mostly encourage dependency? - For people who chose not to use it, do you ever feel like you're competing on an uneven playing field? I'm trying to do the right thing while also being realistic about today's hiring market. Curious how others think about this.

If you're not using ai, youre not getting hired in this market. I interviewed for almost two months and got zero offers. Once I started using ai I had three solid offers including stripe within a month

I bought it a couple weeks ago. Have used it in rounds on coderpad and hackerrank so far and moved on to final rounds which are scheduled later this week. If you decide to buy, make sure to enable reasoning mode in settings if you're going for senior roles. It's on a faster but dumber model by default

Sounds like it's better to buy the tool than regret not having it later. For context, I've already spent a significant amount of time on LeetCode, system design, and interview preparation. I'm not looking for shortcuts, but I have to admit that reading all these comments makes me anxious. Many people keep mentioning that interviews have become extremely difficult lately, the bar is very high, and even strong candidates are struggling.
